Приговор подписал страх.

Как просить в пустыне дождя,

Subway - my train gets stuck in the tunnel , old russian couple asks me what's going on and I translate the last meaningful announcement for them - train is delayed due to the trains traffic ahead of us. The next announcement comes: something generic about the police department , blah, blah, blah.

He: I didn't understand a thing...
She (with conviction): I understood a little - he apologized for the delay and said that the train will be moving soon...

The power of human brain...:)

..friends, co-workers, random people (when they are introduced to you of course - kissing complete strangers is an interesting topic by itself, but out of scope for this discussion ;) when you: greet them, meet them or bid adieu...

and besides how do you draw the line between "air kissing" and actual kiss on a cheek?

What is the right etiquette in this area, if at all?
